Natural Health (Holistic) Veterinarian in British Columbia: Dr. Rehanni

Dr. Rehanni has been a Veterinarian since 1994 and practicing Holistic Veterinary medicine since 2005.

A committed animal lover and advocate for natural health choices for animals, Dr. Rehanni is passionate about helping animals heal naturally.

Dr. Rehanni is a Canadian Veterinary school graduate with 20 years experience.  She has completed extensive additional training in natural medicine and is a registered Classical Homeopathic practitioner.  Healing naturally means encouraging and supporting the animal’s body to heal itself without the ongoing need for pharmaceutical medications.  Natural treatment is gentle to the body and has fewer side effects.  Methods used include: herbs, homeopathy, natural diets (including raw), titer testing, cold laser therapy (LLT) and food allergy testing.  All diseases can be treated naturally, even difficult ones like chronic skin disease, joint pain, arthritis, behavioural problems, and cancer.  Healthy animals can also benefit from natural health treatment by preventing illness.  Most pet insurance plans cover natural health treatment including homeopathy.  See the testimonials on our website.

Dr. Rehanni's animal family includes Nekita, the rescued Husky, Bella the black and white kitty who was found on the highway, and Brucie the white and grey cat who was left at the doorstep of a Vet clinic she was working at.

Dr. Rehanni has been working with animals since she was a teen. She graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan in 1994. After graduation, Dr. Rehanni worked in an emergency veterinary Hospital and then opened her own Veterinary Hospital in 1997. However, after many years of practice, she was discouraged with the results obtained with conventional medicine in the treatment of chronic diseases. She found that many diseases required life-long treatment with medications and many of those medications had harmful side effects on the animal’s long-term health.

Dr. Rehanni wondered if there was a way to treat the whole body, and support the body’s ability to heal itself. This is when she discovered Holistic medicine and she completed a program in Classical Homeopathic medicine from 2005-2010 at the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy.

Dr. Rehanni is not only a Veterinarian but also a CCH, Certified Classical Homeopath and a registered Homeopath with the BC Society of Homeopaths.  In her experience, homeopathic medicine can be an effective method of maintaining health, as well as treating disease.   Dr. Rehanni has studied with great Homeopathic practitioners including Murray Feldman, Dinesh Chauhan, Richard Pitcarin, Laurie Dayck, and Sunil Anand. In December 2012, she travelled to Mumbai India to participate with a well-known Indian Homeopathic Doctor (Dr. Dinesh Chauhan) at his clinic in Mumbai
